Rent a Space division is responsible to attract, manage and help potential National and Foreign Direct Investments IT/ITES Company to lease the commercial space and set-up business operation out of Thimphu TechPark. The tenant company benefits from shared services such as uninterrupted power supply, free and ample parking space, perimeter security, safe drinking water, etc. among others.
Data Centre Services
Located inside the Thimphu TechPark Limited complex, Data Centre Services Pvt. Ltd. (DCS) is a Tier 2/3 Internet Data Centre which is uniquely positioned to provide whole suite of data center infrastructure & managed services with high power density allowing customer to populate more compute infrastructure in lesser footprint thus reducing the operational expenses. The data center has multiple levels of redundancy and connectivity built into the system. Bhutan Innovation and Technology Centre
The Bhutan Innovation and Technology Centre (BITC) was founded by the GovTech Agency (erstwhile the Ministry of Information and Communications) with support from the World Bank and was inaugurated on May 7, 2012. Since then, it has been managed by Thimphu TechPark Limited (TTPL) as a platform to nurture Bhutan’s growing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
BITC provides incubation programs, capacity-building trainings, and entrepreneurship-focused events in partnership with local and international collaborators.
The centre offers incubation workstations and an Information Access Centre, funded by the National Information Society Agency of Korea (NIA), which includes:
1. 24-seat digital training hall for interactive workshops,
2. 16-seat digital lounge for focused sessions,
3. AI Development Centre to support research and collaboration, and
4. Video conferencing hall for seamless virtual meetings.
Together, these facilities provide an enabling environment at affordable rates, making BITC the ideal launchpad for aspiring tech entrepreneurs.
